In 2022, Aquapac pledged their support to the The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) by committing to sharing key water safety messages and raising vital funds through new and existing methods to help the charity keep saving lives at sea.

The RNLI charity is funded primarily by kind donations and is independent of the Coastguard and government. Aquapac aim to raise £70,000 for the RNLI across various fundraising campaigns.

In support of the partnership, fundraiser Robert is taking on the challenge to raise money for the RNLI.

The Aquapac Group are manufacturers of bags and cases for boating, communications, cycling, industrial, medical, military, outdoor and water sports sectors. The Aquapac Group includes the Aquapac, Carradice and UPSO brands. Robert is the Accounts Assistant for the Aquapac Group and will be taking on the London Marathon for the 8th time.

The world-famous London Marathon route has remained largely unchanged since the inaugural race in 1981 and encompasses many of the capital’s most mesmerising landmarks, old and new.

Starting in Greenwich Park, passing the Cutty Sark, The Shard, running over Tower Bridge and then finishing along The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace, the London Marathon is the ultimate run for all runners.

Robert shares: ‘I like a challenge and raising money for good causes. The aim of the fundraiser is to promote the partnership between the RNLI and Aquapac by raising donations that will help the charity maintain its 24/7 rescue service, and to spread awareness on water safety.’

Raising donations for the RNLI will provide them with a great deal of support, as every £1/€1 donated will help the charity weather the storm and make a lifesaving difference.
